Reminder: Before and After School will wrap up at the end of this week. Thank you to our staff and families for a great year!

Teacher Appreciation Week is off to a great start! Thank you to Eric Sutterfield, Nabholz, and Entegrity for treating our teachers to a delicious breakfast this morning.
Our teachers go above and beyond every single day—investing their time, energy, and hearts into helping our students learn, grow, and succeed. Their impact reaches far beyond the classroom, and today was a great reminder of how valued they truly are.
We appreciate your continued support of Clinton Schools and for helping us celebrate the incredible work our teachers do each day.

It’s Lunch Hero Appreciation Day, and we want to give a HUGE thank you to the amazing individuals who keep our cafeteria running! From early mornings to busy lunch lines, you serve our students with kindness, patience, and heart. Our school wouldn’t be the same without you!

As the school year comes to a close, we would like to share a few important reminders to help keep
your child healthy and prepared for the upcoming school year.
All medical documentation, including diet orders, medication orders, Asthma Action Plans, Allergy
Action Plans, and other healthcare plans, must be updated and submitted each school year. Please
note that orders from the 2025–2026 school year will expire and will not be valid for the 2026–2027
school year.
Summer break is an excellent time to schedule your child’s medical appointments to ensure that all
required documentation, including medication orders, treatment plans, procedures, and
immunizations, are current prior to the start of the new school year.
If your child has an immunization exemption, please begin the renewal process over the summer to
ensure all required documentation is submitted by the first day of school in August. The application
can be completed online at the following link:
https://onlineimmunizationexemption.adh.arkansas.gov/WebsiteContent/Home-Page.aspx
Additionally, please make arrangements to pick up any unused medications from the nurse’s office by
the last day of school. This includes inhalers, EpiPens, prescription medications, and over-the-
counter medications. The school is unable to store medications over the summer. Any medications
not picked up within 10 days after the last day of school will be disposed of in accordance with proper
safety guidelines.
If your child will require medication or medical care at school next year, please ensure all forms are
completed and signed by a healthcare provider and parent/guardian prior to the first day of school.
Thank you for your cooperation in helping us maintain a safe and healthy environment for all
students. If you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact the school nurse. The
nurse’s office will reopen the first week of August, and updated forms may be dropped off at that time
or brought on the first day of school.
Thanks,

The Clinton School District continues to lead with stability and strength.
With a 95% teacher retention rate, our educators are choosing to stay, serve, and invest in our students every day.
That consistency matters, and it's one more reason Clinton is a great place to learn and grow.
We would love to show you firsthand what makes Clinton great. Contact Superintendent Tim Smith smitht@clintonsd.org to schedule a tour.
The school choice deadline is June 1st, school choice paperwork can be found by going to www.clintonsd.org. We hope you make the choice to choose Clinton.
